This training is suitable for social workers and psychologists wanting to gain introductory knowledge about working with families who intersect with the Family Court system. Prior experience in working with families is necessary, as some knowledge of family systems is expected. Spaces are limited to 16, as this is a specialised training suited to a small group.

Presenters: Kirsty Oehlers is a child and family therapist with many years experience working with complex families in contested and conflicted Family Court cases. She will present information regarding her therapeutic work and working from a child-focussed perspective. Lara Anstie is a family lawyer with extensive experience supporting families through highly challenging circumstances, with a focus on the prevention and acknowledgment of family violence.
