Counsellor/Social Worker
Charlette is a Counsellor with qualifications in Social Work, Buddhist Psychotherapy and Education studies and has experience in Working with Migrants and refugees, Family support, Disability, and Mental health.
Adopting an holistic, integrative approach to counselling, Charlette meets clients with respect, empathy, and authenticity, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and valued. Her training includes Person Centred Approach, Compassion Focused Therapy, Buddhist Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution focused brief therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Charlette provides support to individuals from diverse backgrounds that
require assistance with stress, depression, anxiety, behavioural change,
decision making, and establishing healthy boundaries and patterns in
relationships. She is also able to develop and facilitate bespoke workshops
around stress and mood management.
Her goal is to support and guide individuals on their journey to become
empowered, and lead a life that is purposeful and meaning-centred.
