Kirsty Ridley Child and Family Counsellor Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Kirsty has had over 15 years’ experience working therapeutically with children, families and individuals in a variety of settings including community and government based agencies. She is currently working in private counselling practice and was previously employed as a Child and Family Counsellor for the Children’s Counselling Service, She has developed and Facilitated the ‘Keeping Children Safe Program’ in Schools, has worked in the area of victim Support for the Family Violence Court and for the Health Department. Kirsty has developed a number of group work programs and is currently writing a Strength Based Parenting book and accompanying parenting and attachment programs. Kirsty holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Curtin University and has also had formal training in the areas of Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mental Health and Trauma and Attachment.
