Maureen has been a mental health clinician who specialises in navigating life adjustment, specialising in psycho-oncology; concurrently, lecturing in the counselling discipline at Edith Cowan University. She is interested in the primacy of relationships and how individuals come to define their sense of selves within relationships. Maureen has experience working with adult individuals, couples, families and is an ally of the LGBTQI community, and First Nations Peoples.

To this end, her practice is underpinned by a psychodynamic and existential framework. Having previously been a yoga teacher for 20 years, she endorses a holistic and contemplative, a mind-body approach towards mental health and wellness that is part of the Eastern tradition and her cultural heritage.
